Wicked windows
So, I don't really take much time to pay attention to architecture these days. I mean, I interact with architecture every day -- but rarely do I appreciate it. Having gone to school with the idea that I might contribute to architecture, sometimes that's a little depressing.
But recently, a good friend of mine has decided to return to school and study architecture. So that gives me a chance to talk about it some. Plus, we're 30-something and he's gone back to undergrad school -- so he's fodder for being made merciless fun of.
For some reason, I've been reading Joel on Software a lot the last couple days, and I came across a really, really cool article that he wrote a couple years ago right after moving into new offices. This is cool because I get to read about architecture as it influences programmers.
