Weekend Warrior
I spent a little time this weekend working on the last bits of our bar. Props go to Robert for having to move and offload his 8" compound miter saw. It made short work of the oak trim. And also to Ketan, since he decided he didn't need to keep the Black and Decker WorkMate the saw is currently affixed to...The cool thing is that the miter saw is clamped into the bench vise using the dogs that the Work-Mate came with. It made for a nice and stable platform.
Although my out-rigger sawhorse (seen in the background of the picture) wasn't tall enough so I had to set it up on top of some 2x scraps as well as clamp another 2x to the top rail.
But I definitely like the setup. Here's another pic of the bar, with some tile installed (a few months ago) and the trim.
